Programme of Works to Install a New Walkway Canopy at Stirlingshire Crematorium
Due to commence on 2nd August, works are expected to take 8 weeks to complete.
Due to the nature of these works, we will close the Crematorium on Mondays and Tuesdays for the duration of these works (2nd August until 28th September). There will also be a week of closure from 30th August until 5th September. The Garden of Remembrance however will remain open throughout this period for visitors.
Access to the chapel will continue on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays throughout this period and funeral services will be possible on these days.
The areas directly affected will be fenced off in order to ensure public safety and signage will be installed to help guide and ensure the safety of all visitors.
Please feel free to contact the crematorium office for more information on 01786 484 710
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during the works but hope that you will appreciate that it will improve the facilities and the experience of visiting when the improvements are complete.
Our response to coronavirus (COVID-19)
Our customers, colleagues and communities are at the heart of what we do. Therefore in light of the developing Covid-19 situation, we will be posting information on what action we are taking based upon recommendations by the Government.
In line with government updates and current restrictions, we have limited our chapel capacity. Please contact the office directly for the latest capacity advice.
During the current situation, we appreciate that it may be difficult to decide on a fitting tribute for your loved ones while our offices are closed. We know that finding a special way for you to remember and mourn is extremely important, and we understand that you may be thinking about what options are available to you at this time.
Whilst our offices are closed, we’d like to reassure you that our trained colleagues are still available to assist you in finding your loved ones’ lasting tribute.
If you’d like us to contact you to discuss this further, or to ask any questions you may have, please complete the enquiry form on the Brochure Request page where you can also download a digital version of our Memorial Brochure.
